Google’s New Logo: Then and Now
Google have unveiled a new logo, designed to reflect the Google of the future, accessed not just from desktop PC’s but many different devices and platforms such as smartphones, tablets and TV’s; All places where a serifed font may not display well in the smaller sizes used.
The new logo is san-serif and will be joined by an updated “G” icon, which will now be multi-coloured rather than plain old blue. The previous Google logo was designed in 2013, and was a subtle change to the familiar colourful Google logo, with a flatter 2D design.
