iPhone Reception Problem Caused by an iOS4 Software Bug?
There have been many reports from iPhone 4 users about bad reception on their new phones, with the assumption being that it’s the new hardware that’s at fault. However as many 3GS users are also seeing the same indicated signal drop on their displays since upgrading their OS it may have more to do with the current iOS4 build. Both iPhone models signal meters indicate a drop or complete loss of signal as soon as they are clutched in the hand but many have found that the phone will still make and receive calls as normal. This surely gives more weight to the theory that it’s a software bug concerning the display of signal strength rather than an actual reception problem!
