Nokia Lumia 800: Battery software fix dated
The Nokia Lumia 800 has proven to be pretty popular- with sales results to match, but as is often the case with new hardware, there have been a few niggly problems affecting the smartphone, with battery issues at the top of the pile. Lumia owners may be happy to hear then that a second battery fix update has been announced.
The first update for the Lumia 800 last month provided a fix for a problem with charging, as well as some other minor improvements. It didn’t go far enough however which bring us to the latest software fix which Nokia assures us will end the battery issues at long last.
The update is due to roll out ‘within 2 weeks,’ around the same time as an update from Microsoft to build 8107 of Windows Phone, which will address others issues with disappering keyboards, Gmail syncing and location features.
